We are offering a Laser Scanning Service by using the REVscan Laser Scanner from CREAFORM with an accuracy of 0,050 mm.

We will be able to scan items in a range of 50 mm to 6000 mm and are able to perform the following tasks:

-          Surface reconstruction

-          Class A surfacing

-          3D modeling

-          Mechanical design

-          Clay model digitizing

-          Tooling & jig development

-          Maintenance, repair & overhaul

-          Finite element analysis

-          Non contact, first article and supplier quality inspection

-          Colorimetric reports and overall conformity assessments of parts

The following options are available:

Scanning with generating of STL files only:

                                    Minimum charge (up to two 2 hours of scanning)      R 2 500,00 + VAT

                                    Full day (8 hours)                                                               R 7 850,00 + VAT

Consumable like targets and powder are not included in the price and will be charged as and when required.

Payment 50 % with order, balance is due on completion of scanning, prior to handing over STL files.

Post processing of STL files to be handled as a separate entity and will

be charged at                                                                                                             R 600,00/h + VAT

Depending on the application, post processing of the STL files can be executed in either

GEOMAGIC - CATIA - or RAPIDFORM CAD software.

The post processing will be executed at the offices of CREAFORM. Turn around time for small jobs are 1 – 2 working days.

Please take note that we take no responsibility for post processing capabilities of 3^rd parties.

Before commencement of a scanning job, all technical details must be clarified before hand.

Traveling and accommodation costs outside the Gauteng area are not included in the above mentioned prices and need to be paid when placing the order.
